TAX PREPARATION & SUPPORT

Choose a starting point.
We’ll work through the details.

Explore the kinds of help available and the information that makes a first conversation useful.

PERSONAL TAX RETURNS

For employment, family changes and everyday filing needs.

Personal tax preparation starts with the income slips and records that reflect your year. Different jobs, changes in household circumstances and different kinds of income can affect the information that needs to be reviewed.

We help organize that information and prepare the return around the circumstances you explain. The scope is confirmed before work begins, and any questions about records are addressed as part of preparation.

For the first conversation

Your tax year, the main types of income, available slips and any significant changes you want to discuss.

SELF-EMPLOYED RETURNS

Bring income and expense records into the same picture.

If you earn business or professional income as a sole proprietor, good preparation starts with knowing what came in and keeping the related expense information organized. Personal and business records can become mixed together; sorting them is part of establishing a clearer starting point.

Support includes organizing the information used for T2125 preparation. We discuss the nature of the business, the records available and any questions that need to be resolved rather than treating every business the same way.

For the first conversation

A short description of your work, the tax year, income records and the way you currently track business expenses.

SMALL-BUSINESS SUPPORT

Define the filing needs before defining the work.

Small businesses vary in structure, record quality and filing requirements. The first conversation establishes how the business operates, what records exist and what kind of tax-preparation help is being requested.

Tell us whether the business is a sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation, and which periods need attention. We will confirm whether the requested work fits the available service and what additional information is needed.

For the first conversation

Your business structure, the relevant year or period, and a summary of the bookkeeping and filing help you need.

LATE FILINGS

Turn several outstanding years into a sequence of tasks.

Catching up begins with an inventory: which years are unfiled, what documents are available and whether CRA has contacted you. That helps establish an order for addressing the work and identifying missing information.

Older-year preparation depends on the specific year and the records available. We discuss the scope and the practical next steps before promising a timeline or outcome.

For the first conversation

The outstanding years, the slips or records you have, and a general description of any CRA correspondence.

CRA REPRESENTATION

Help with correspondence and authorized communication.

CRA letters and account matters can be difficult to interpret when you are unsure what information is being requested. We can discuss the issue and the scope of representation that may be appropriate.

Authorization is required before accessing your CRA information or acting on your behalf. The work and responsibilities are confirmed directly; a general contact enquiry does not itself authorize access or representation.

For the first conversation

The type of issue, the relevant tax years and any response date shown in the correspondence. Do not send login credentials or your SIN through the website.
